Can my assessment still take place?
Yes. We are still conducting assessments, but they can now be delivered remotely via video conferencing or face-to-face. You can call us to book in, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or go to our online booking form on the website under the ‘Book Assessment’ tab.
What is a remote assessment?
Remote assessments are very similar to face-to-face assessments. We conduct them via video conferencing and will email you instructions for setting this up and accepting the meeting request from your assessor. We ask that students please use the video element if possible, so it can be as similar to a face-to-face assessment as possible.
The assessment will follow the structure of a friendly discussion with your assessor and will last around 1.5-2 hours. The assessor will be able to answer any questions you have about DSA and guide you towards the best support available for your needs, through screen sharing, during the assessment.
We aim to offer a friendly, welcoming experience, so please don’t be worried, we are more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
Can I have a face-to-face assessment?
A face-to-face assessment can be considered, and you may request this. You can call us to book in, email us at email@example.com or go to our online booking form on the website under the ‘Book Assessment’ tab. Please be aware that as we have less face-to-face assessment availability, this may mean that the process of getting your assessment, and ultimately your support in place, may take longer.
